Sea letter, 1855.

Form printed in French, Spanish, English and Dutch with manuscript information entered concerning a whaling voyage in the Pacific Ocean by Andrew Sarvent and the ship Arnolda. The document has a white paper seal of the United States and embossed stamps of the U.S. Custom House of New Bedford and W. H. Taylor, notary public of New Bedford. It is signed by Franklin Pierce and Secretary of State W. L. Marcy, and countersigned by a customs collector.
